RSSB Typing Test Error Evaluation & Marks (Mathematical Formula)
The RSSB skill test uniquely calculates marks based ONLY on correctly typed words. Errors do not result in negative marks, they simply aren't counted. Follow this mathematical evaluation framework:
Step 1: Calculate Total Correct Words
Count the total number of correct words typed. Errors are ignored.
Correct_Words = Total_Words_Typed - Wrong_WordsStep 2: Calculate Final Marks (Mathematical Formula)
The final marks formula differs between LDC English, LDC Hindi, and DEO.
👉 For LDC English Typing (Max 25 Marks, Min 9 marks required):
English_Marks = Correct_Words * 0.05👉 For LDC Hindi Typing (Max 25 Marks, Min 9 marks required):
Hindi_Marks = Correct_Words * 0.0625👉 For DEO Typing (Max 25 Marks, Min 10.5 marks required):
DEO_Marks = Correct_Words * 0.02Practical Examples of the Formula
Example- Example (LDC English):
• Candidate types 400 words in English.
• Candidate commits 20 mistakes.
• Correct Words: 400 - 20 = 380 Words.
• Total Marks: 380 * 0.05 = 19 Marks. (Passes 9 marks cutoff).
